In episode 96, Krisha told the story of going to a beer garden alone to hear musician Grady Milligan. Krisha first learned of Grady online when he was performing with Knox Brew Tours as they made food deliveries during the lockdown.
Krisha clicked “interested” on one of Grady’s recent Facebook events. He messaged her and asked Krisha to bring him two fast-food cheeseburgers. Krisha put the burgers in his guitar case with his other tips.
Frank is reminded of a singer-songwriter who dated his cousin. When they broke up, he wrote a song about her called “What a Waste of a Pretty Face.” Here is a video of him performing it: https://youtu.be/Q3W_dUZUWso
Frank “dad-armed” Krisha when a car in front of them stopped suddenly in Pigeon Forge. After recording a segment, they got “hangry” and went to a drive-through with a 2 for $6 mix-and-match special.
Krisha & Frank pulled into a parking space to eat their food. A family got into the minivan in the next space. As they backed out, Frank honked to get their attention because one of the teens had dropped his karate belt.
Frank is reminded of trying to eat a burger while driving with his friend Bean. He had to stop along the interstate to brush off the detritus from the burger. Frank is also reminded of meeting singer Jermaine Stewart who said he could only eat half of a Big Mac.
